I thank God I found Amanda’s program. I was able to pass both exams the first time around with the Amanda Rowan Study System! Bethany was so helpful getting me started and the coaches were available to answer questions promptly. I had another study system that I won at a conference. I found the amount of study material alone overwhelming. I decided to go with the Therapist Development Center instead. It was worth the investment and I found the system to meet my learning style. I would recommend this program to anyone looking for a simple, uncomplicated program.

I recently passed the California LCSW exam on my very first try. Amanda and the team quickly prepare you to succeed. Every time I had a question or a slight doubt, I would email my coach. She responded quickly and answered my questions clearly. Much appreciation to the TDC and thank you again for helping me succeed! Already recommended this program to the coworkers and friends. Thank you again! :)

I was skeptical about using the Therapist Development Center because I heard that it was "easier" than AATBS. I used AATBS material exclusively until I failed the Clinical Vignette exam. I decided to give TDC a try. The program indeed prepared me to approach the exam from the perspective needed to pass. To pass the exam, one needs to be very clear on what is being tested, and for that, having the right strategies is absolutely crucial. The material offered by TDC fits that purpose exceptionally well.

I took my test on 6/5/15 and passed on the first try with 84%. My story is probably not typical. I received my MSW in NY State in 1987. At that time, if you passed the state exam right out of grad school, you immediately received a LCSW. I worked in the field for about 6 years, left the field, ran a restaurant with my husband for years, raised my children, and let my license lapse. When I decided to reenter the field in 2011, I learned that I would only get a LMSW certification until I passed the ASWB exam.

I took my exam on June 30, 2015. This was my 3rd attempt and I finally passed!!! I previously used a friend's study materials that gave me no direction; I felt the materials were all over the place with no structure and guidance. I was recently diagnosed with ADD and had to get adjusted to new medication, which was also a struggle during this process. Without the fact that I had not known I had this diagnosis and had purchased this study program, I really don't think I would have did as well as I did.

I had a special accommodation to take the exam on paper and had time and a half to complete the exam. The front of the exam booklet said "9:00 AM to 1:30 PM." Forgetting that I had only 3 hours to complete the exam, I assumed that I had 4 plus hours to complete the exam and budgeted my time, accordingly. When my paper was collected at 3 hours, I had only answered 30 out of 40 questions.

Imagine my surprise and jubilation when I received my notification in the mail that I had passed! I nailed the 30 questions that I did answer.

I used your study system, following it closely for about five weeks, and took the LCSW exam just a few days ago. I passed on my first try, and I definitely have you to thank! I loved the audio lectures and really appreciated all of the tips and the mock exams. I can honestly say that the final mock exam was almost more difficult than the actual exam - so thank you! This was a wonderful study system, and one I will recommend to all of my social worker friends! Thanks, Bethany!
