I wanted to let you know that I did pass the exam back in June.  Thank you so very much for your never ending, positive, and encouraging help with this process.  I have been in the field for 27 years and had to take this exam upon my move to Oregon, and I don't believe I would have passed without this program.  I appreciated the thoughtful and always encouraging responses I got to my many questions.  Money WELL spent.  Thank you!

I had taken the exam 2 other times, was very anxious, and had no idea how to answer the questions even though I knew the material. The last time I took the exam was almost three years ago; I have been out of grad school for five years. This program was amazing! I went in prepared, I didn't have any panic moments, and I PASSED!! I highly recommend this program. It focuses on the top topic areas of the exam and makes it easy to avoid over studying. Your program emphasizes clinical judgment, which is at the heart of the exam, rather than on the rote type of questions that other training programs emphasize. Also, having a coach ready to answer questions on line made me feel very supported throughout. Thanks for all your help!

I had spent a small fortune on other study materials a few years ago and never took them out of the box. I as anxious over the thought of studying and convinced that I would never learn the material in a manner that would allow me to successfully pass the California LCSW test. So there the study materials sat for almost two years. Thankfully, a colleague turned me on to the Therapist Development Center. I was elated that the cost was much lower than that of other materials I had bought in the past. Also, I enjoyed the simple yet effective format TDC utilizes.

I feel great. The study material really helped me with the nuances that I would not have picked up on otherwise—little things that I may not have caught.

The Therapist Development Center has the best study material available. The material is clear, concise, very user friendly as opposed to other study programs. I followed all of Amanda's recommendations for studying and preparing for exam day. I passed the first time I took the written LCS exam using this material. I have recommended the material to others. I cannot say enough good things. I am ready to study for the second exam and feel confident that with the Therapist Development Center's material I will be well prepared.

I passed this morning!!!! The LCSW SWE was exactly what I expected. I think that I felt clinically prepared, but what this program does is also help you prepare and plan for the anxiety, the doubts, the second-guessing. If you listen and actually do all the strategies and stick to managing your fears, then the material you've prepared for and with has made passing this test very doable.

I am so thankful for the Therapist Development Center program! It more than prepared me to take the test and pass. Your test taking strategies that were weaved through the study materials were the most helpful! I found myself being unsure of how I was doing throughout the test and reminded myself to be ok with uncertainty. Also, all of the information you provided on the DSM and law & ethics helped summarize the needed information for the test. I enjoyed the structure of the program, with each module having a combination of handouts and audio lectures.
