I felt extremely prepared for the CVE using TDC. The strategies were incredibly helpful and I was able to manage my anxiety during the exam knowing that I was fully equipped with the tools I needed to pass! I would absolutely recommend TDC to others. Thanks TDC and Amanda for helping me reach my goal!
I PASSED!!! I found that TDC was really helpful in terms of having the right mindset and in offsetting the anxiety built in to this process. I had struggled with frustration at trying to find the 'right' answer at times and the advice and guidance was great. Also appreciated the idea that I should expect to be uncertain if I was passing the exam, because I had no idea when taking the test. Onward!
I passed the LCSW SWE today! It was much harder than I had ever imagined it would be but the study materials really helped prepare me. During the exam I was really stressing and thinking about how I felt so unprepared despite all of my studying and real life experience but looking back, I know that TDC was the key factor in helping me to pass. It helped me to organize my knowledge base, read the questions carefully and at times, I heard Amanda's voice talking me through the questions. I will be using TDC for my CVE and I hope I have just as positive of an experience!
I am happy to report that I am officially an LCSW!!! I only used TDC's materials and passed both the standard and clinical vignette exams on the first try! This program was helpful in preparing you well for not only being competent in practicing and with attacking the exam with its specific test taking strategies and teaching of law and ethics. I highly recommend you use this program only as it was well worth the investment and using other programs may overload you with info and create more anxiety due to the differences in teaching.
Wow!! What a relief! I just passed the LCSW CA SWE yesterday and couldn't be more excited! I had so much anxiety over taking this test that I had put it off for far too long. Completely overwhelmed by where to start studying and what I would need to know, this program was suggested to me by a friend and I am so grateful for the clear, concise, and direct guidance of TDC.
This program is leaps and bounds ahead of the others available. I paid $800 for one company's course and took a free prep seminar with another company. I learned more with Amanda's study course than I did with the other two combined. I was so pleased that I told three of my coworkers who also purchased the program and will be taking (and apssing!!!) the exam this month!
TDC does all the legwork for you. And the best part is they cut it down to what you actually need to know to pass the test. I found TDC's mock tests more difficult than the actual test itself so after taking 4 of their tests I was familiar with the test format and how I needed to think in order to pass, which was key. I passed the first time and answered 26 question correctly OVER the amount I needed to pass. Counting everything, the cost for their system is less than what it will cost you if you have to take the test a 2nd time. Less mental anguish - Priceless!
This program was perfect for how I study. I have always studied best by lectures and corresponding handouts. While the test is definitely different in some ways, the ways to think about questions allowed me to use the skills I had to pick the best answer. All of the tips helped me pick what I thought was the best answer. Thank you all for your help and assistance!
