After failing the assessment twice, I nearly gave up on obtaining my clinical license. However, I was convinced by my husband, my peers, my mentor, and a few clients to try again. I decided to scrap all previous study materials and only use The Therapist Development Center's materials. Thank you TDC for helping me to feel comfortable with sitting in front of that computer screen for nearly 4 hours.
Thanks TDC!!! I passed my Pennsylvania LCSW exam today. I started using your system last year and due family stressors needed to get extensions which you granted at least two or more times. I had coaching sessions with Bethany last year and found that the notes and tips about test anxiety were still relevant for this year. I completed the program twice before today's exam. The lectures and all the practice questions were the most valuable to me along with putting the answers in order.
I cannot begin to thank you. I am truly grateful that a colleague told me about this website. You were the only resource I used. The lectures, handouts, practice exams etc. were brilliantly formulated and were the only reason I passed with flying colors. We needed to get 98 answers correct in order to pass, and I got 129 correct. You hit every aspect and component of the exam. I kept on hearing your voice throughout the exam. It was reassuring and informative!
This study system is amazing! I sadly found it only a couple weeks before I had to take my exam, but it helped me break down the questions better than anything else that I tried. The simple rationales behind why one answer would be better than another helped me to logically think through each question rather than getting frustrated that "every answer is correct." I would recommend this system to anyone that would like help understanding the LCSW Exam.
I passed on my FIRST attempt at taking this exam! A million times thank you for your guidance and this program. I had to get 98 questions correct and I got 122!!! This program met all my study needs. Instead of memorizing the information, I learned and understood it. I was able to use my knowledge to think critically and apply what I learned to the vignettes posed on the exam. I passed my ASWB Clinical Exam on 4/19/16! It has been a long journey (after having to take the good old Standard Written twice in 2015). This program has been with me throughout all of it. It was essential in preparing me for both exams. Thank you for everything!
