I was successful - to my own surprise - passing the Written Exam two months ago, using another company's program. I say "surprised" because the exam experience bore little resemblance to the real "in vivo" encounter. Perhaps the advantage then was simply that I had to wait 10 months from application time to the BBS until a date was established, so lots of study time. When I contacted Amanda five weeks ago, expressing anxiety that I did not feel the same company was going to equip me for the CVE, I made the switch to The Therapist Development Center. Through the online lectures and presentation of materials, things really started to make sense in a very focused way. I started hearing Amanda's voice inside of my own head, reasoning answers with a coherent rationale. While it would be foolish to say that the exam this morning was "easy", it actually became very "simple".
