The day before I was going to buy Grossman's study program, I saw a colleague who had used The Therapist Development Center program. I was so so thankful. All the other programs I researched had an extremely overwhelming amount of study materials. Also, having to go to conferences and workshops and study groups seemed excessive. I loved that I could study on my own and everything I needed to pass was contained in one simple website. More importantly was the short amount of time needed to study. Also, the test taking strategies for both tests were awesome. The most important advice for me was that there are no trick questions, never ever make assumptions and don't read into the questions-answer the questions based solely on the info contained in the question. When I would ask myself "was _____ in the question/vignette" it was so much easier to answer. I also found the with the written test, taken a tiny 5 second break every ten questions and closing my eyes REALLY helped.
