I just got back from Exam #1 and I passed!  I wanted to let you know right away and thank you for your amazing program.  As you know, as a full-time working parent, I had very little time to prepare, and I wanted to find the most efficient way to study in a two-month time frame, given these constraints.   I'm so glad I found you and The Therapist Development Center.  Your audio lectures taught me exactly what I needed to know without overwhelming me with minutia that wasn't covered, and whenever I saw something confusing on the exam, I took a breath and thought, "What would Amanda do and why?  If I were discussing this vignette with Amanda, how would SHE reason this one out?"   This past week, when I had some last-minute questions, Asya was invaluable in providing me with articulate distinctions in the rationales, and I used that knowledge and thought process several times on the test today, too.

The main thing, though, that I think I got from your lectures was a sense of how to think and stay calm during the exam.  Anyone can throw diagnoses, legal requirements, theory terms, etc. at a student.  But you explained all of it in a memorable real-world context that both made sense and was very representative of the actual exam questions.  You also always conveyed a sense of "Don't over-complicate it" and "You know more than you think by having completed your 3000 hours," rather than going into the mode of, "If you don't memorize these million things or take a bajillion full-length practice tests, you won't pass the exam."  You were right:  I didn't need to do any of that.

Thank you so much for helping me pass today!  I'm going to sign up for exam #2 shortly.
