It was a bit of wait to find out from BBS that I had passed the LCSW L&E exam due to the analysis process. I studied for just about 4 weeks for this exam. There were a few bad studying habits I had to break and replace with some healthy coping strategies to manage my test anxiety and build my confidence prior and during my course of studying for this exam. Those included remaining physically active on a regular basis, eating healthy diets, prioritizing time out of my busy weeknights and weekends to study, practicing meditation, and stealing time away to engage in social gatherings with friends. I do believe that keeping a balanced and healthy routine really helped keep me staying mentally strong, focused, and reduced my anxiety to the minimum. Most importantly, I appreciated the wonderful study tools that TDC offered, as well as their patience and ongoing support for giving me extensions as I took a long time to overcome my test anxiety and build my confidence up to take this exam. Despite not knowing the result right on that day, I walked out of the test center after my exam with a good feeling, believing that I had passed. And I did!!! I had utilized all the test taking techniques that Amanda talked about and was able to quickly identify the right answers for the majority of the questions without second guessing myself. Thank you Amanda and the team for your brilliance and commitment to getting me to pass. I am excited and so ready to dive into the study materials for the ASWB clinical exam.
