I took the exam in March using the TDC. I went through the material once and felt prepared but not confident. Due to some personal pressures and timelines I went ahead with the test. I took the exam and missed it by one point. That was a heavy and disappointing feeling. In July, I decided to start studying again, this time with the sole focus and goal of passing. I read, listened to the lectures and took the unlimited quizzes more than 4-5 times each. I took the mock exams and felt satisfied with my passing percentages. I reviewed the last week really focusing on what wasn't clicking and sticking in my brain and reviewed until I really absorbed the concepts and could apply them to practice. And I am glad to say that I passed the LCSW Law and Ethics Exam. As I was testing I could feel the confidence build with each question. I knew the information. I thought my results would come in the mail, so when I was checking out in the lobby, to my pleasant surprise the staff told me I passed. I think my belief that I wouldn't find out my score today helped relieve my stress, worries and fears. The lobby and wait was less intimidating this time. I look forward to my next exam. I will take it in two months. I feel prepared and confident that I will enter that testing center in October ready to pass and leave as a licensed social worker. Thank you to Robin for all the QUICK, SOLID and SUPPORTIVE email responses. Even on the weekend. TDC is great, the program is easy to follow, clear, organized, relevant and I would recommend to any Intern studying for licensure. I mostly love the ease and mobility of using the website on a cellphone, tablet or computer.
