LCSW
I am so excited to be logging on to this site for the last time! I took my Clinical exam for the LCSW yesterday and passed on my 1st try! I would highly recommend the TDC study program for a few reasons: 1) It's concise and organized, which when studying for something this lengthy I would have had a harder time on my own. 2) It's not an overabundance of information which I feel can cause more stress trying to cram everything out there into your brain. Some things on the test were not covered in detail by TDC and some things in the study materials were not on my particular exam, but that's to be expected. You can't plan for everything, but this program covered the most important areas and gave me a good ability to rule out terms I didn't know with the ones I did. 3) The quick tests, mock, and final exams were probably the biggest plus because they helped me get over test anxiety and I knew what it would be like to sit for the actual exam and know I would be fine on time (I finished an hour early on test day). The rationales were also helpful because a bigger portion of the exam is really about knowing order: first, next, best, type scenarios. Thank you TDC for also allowing candidates to extend use of your material which I didn't see with any other study programs. I didn't take my exam when originally anticipated so it was nice to have a little more time to have access to the materials right before I actually was scheduled to take the test. Hope that info helps future LCSW candidates...Best of luck to you all!
