I am licensed in Texas and moved to California. The BBS required me to retest. It has been 9 years since I took my boards in Texas. I had no clue where to start studying formally. The essence of my "studying" these days is referencing my text books as cases require and attending CE/professional development workshops. I truly utilized the techniques taught in the program. The exam was very daunting and even as I sat in front of the computer I kept hearing Amanda's voice saying "you will not feel like you're passing." She was right. I also remembered to think about the client first, acknowledge presenting issue, focus on the clients in the room and place the answers in the correct order. I truly don't know if I would have passed without this plan. I'm looking forward to starting on the Vignette portion of the study plan after a little break! (Also, so thankful for the staff that answers questions. They were prompt, kind, thorough and helpful.)
