I became licensed in California in 2005, but moved to another state that required that I take the AMFTRB. I was angry, in denial, and put it off for two years and did not even work at all in my profession. A friend recommended that I use this study program because it had helped her pass the tests required in California. What I liked about this study program was that it provided exactly what I needed to pass the test. I studied a couple of hours a day and gave myself weekends pretty much off until right before the test. I required less than two months to be prepared. This means I was able to have a 'life' other than study. Because I was licensed in 2005, I had learned the DSM IV. DSM V is a different game. However, the lectures helped immensely on that. When I got my scores back, I was astonished to find that not only did I pass, but I passed by a very wide margin. I am 65 years old and I had fears that I might not be able to pass this, that maybe I wasn't as 'sharp' as I had been when I took the California exams. Wrong! Thank you so much! I guess having to take the AMFTRB sharpened my skills and I feel better prepared than ever to work in my field.
