This course informed me how to assess for suicide in a collaborative and compassionate way. I have new confidence in sitting with my clients who experience SI and more.

I am very glad I took this course. I learned about about working with suicidal clients and it helped me become aware of my own anxieties on the topic.

I learned a lot from this training. The training confirmed what I currently do well. The training also helped me to see what I need to work on and improve on.

I took the Simple Practice suicide training by Ben Caldwell and it was EXACTLY as you described, filled with statistics and acronyms. Ben then stated that the identified acronyms were proven ineffective in accurately assessing suicide risk. As I was listening to this, it made me feel unprepared to manage a person who was feeling suicidal. Your training is HEADS AND SHOULDERS better. I will definitely take the suicide "edge of life" training as part of my continuing education. I like the comparison to CPR training. Need to do it every two years as a refresher.
