I took the LMSW exam twice and failed by just one point each time—I was devastated. My field supervisor and a fellow veteran colleague both recommended Therapist Development Center. TDC really helped me understand the concepts of social work. Everything was very detailed and it was easy to understand the material. I really enjoyed the audios I was able to listen to them as I was driving and working out. I also enjoyed the quick studies that made the information stick better. The mock tests reflected how well I was going to do on the exam and that helped me as well. Thank you for the tip about eating a banana and drinking orange juice during the break. That advice was so helpful and it prepared my brain for the second half of the exam.

Yes, this program saved me. I thrive in structure and direction, and this program hit the mark perfectly. This study system absolutely prepared me for what was on the LMSW exam. The coaches teach you the exact way of thinking that is necessary to do well on a standardized test such as this one. I am so glad this was the study program I went with!

I went into the social work graduate program not knowing anything about it. After my first graduate semester, I fell in love with the profession so much that I wanted to obtain my license right after graduation. As I was preparing for the LMSW exam in my last semester of graduate school, many social workers and fellow students recommended TDC as their number one study material. I was skeptical at first but decided to test it after trying other methods and feeling lost. As soon as I gained access to the material, I was excited to see a layout of all the topics tested in the exam, which brought me a great deal of relief. The audio and quick studies were helpful, as I would take notes while listening and reinforce the material with the quick studies. I felt prepared after a few months of studying and reviewing the material several times. I went to the exam with confidence, and I passed on the first try, with 21 questions more than the minimum requirement to pass. I not only felt ready for the exam, but now I also feel ready to grow in the profession.

I love TDC!! Helps me organize my studying and I was able to do the whole study program in one month and pass!! The day the test came, I felt confident and ready! Thank you TDC!
