I am so delighted I passed the Clinical Social Work Exam today. I needed to answer 99 questions correctly and I answered 110 correctly. I tested previously in 2007, but missed passing by four points the first time and one time the second time. This devastated me. I finally built the courage to try again but kept asking myself if I was crazy for doing so because so much has changed since I received my MSW in 2002. I started exploring different test preparation programs and learned so many positive things about TDC so I decided to go for it.
I took the LCSW exam for the first time this afternoon and I passed with ease!!! I felt so confident going into the exam after using this program. At one point I began to panic thinking that I had so much further to go to complete the exam, but I remembered Amanda's final pep talk point of tolerating uncertainty and being able to be present in the exam process. Thank you for creating such an organized and comprehensive approach to studying!
I initially took the test about a year ago, and missed passing by 1 point. I was very frustrated and discouraged because I felt prepared after going through your program. I dragged my feet and finally set another test date. This time I dedicated 2 weeks to go through TDC again and the 2nd week I took off from work to completely, concentrate on studying. It worked. Honestly, I thought I was prepared the first time around but after going through the course a second time, I think I was much more focused and internalized the material better than I did the first time. I would recommend TDC wholeheartedly. I used several courses to prepare for the exam, but no other program provided the skills and preparation to answer reasoning based questions, which constitutes a majority of the test. Without this preparation I would have struggled to choose the correct answer. I would suggest taking advantage of the coaches that this program offers; it's unique and very helpful!
I was terrified to take this exam. I am older student and have dyslexia. These materials were excellent with the auditory sections and Amanda's explanations really helped me to think through each question. Now that the jitters are over, I would like to up my score. But I am thrilled I passed the first time!! Thank you so much for making this program and your support.
This program was great! I used the given study guide for the CA Law and Ethics Exam for 6 weeks! I was able to breeze through the questions on the exam! I am so grateful for the team at TDC. Any questions I had were responded to right away with great explanation! I will continue now with the study prep for the actual LCSW exam now! THANK YOU TDC!
If you follow this program step-by-step and take each practice test 3 times you'll do just fine. I found it helpful to listen to the explanation section while I drove in my car.

I am so glad I used Therapist Development Center. It gave me tools that I used, over and over again to overcome my weaknesses and feel stronger and less afraid. I still had a ton of fear, but I kept coming back. I also had a ton of other problems in my life that were slowing me down. But the study center helped by extending the class so I could focus on my life problems. Once my life was in check, a friend challenged my fear, told me to not wait and to just take the test because I have put in the studying. I could always take it again.
