Marina Ovanessian

Hi, I’m Marina, and I am excited to join the Continuing Education (CE) committee at the Therapist Development Center (TDC). I am very passionate about helping youth as well as destigmatizing mental health amongst various cultures, including the Armenian community. I have primarily worked with, or on behalf of, children, teens, and families during my social work career including as a therapist and a school social worker. I mostly used TDC test prep materials when I was studying for the exams to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and they were so helpful! I appreciated how TDC demystified the licensure process and made it seem manageable. I look forward to supporting the new CE committee and piloting innovative courses for mental health professionals.
