Amanda Rowan, LCSW | Founder and CEO

Amanda Rowan is an LCSW and the founder and CEO of the Therapist Development Center. Amanda graduated with honors from Dartmouth College, where she majored in Neuroscience. She earned her Masters in Social Welfare at UCLA. Since founding the Therapist Development Center in 2008, Amanda has prepared more than 100,000 therapists nationwide to pass their state licensing exams. She is a certified Gestalt Therapist who has worked with a wide variety of clients in a range of settings over the past 20 years. She is a highly effective instructor who has a passion for collaborating with seasoned therapists who understand what works because they do it every day.

Beth Kanne-Casselman, LMFT, MEd is a psychotherapist and credentialed school teacher, holding Master Degrees in both fields. Beth taught preschool and public elementary school for 20 years and has been in private practice as a psychotherapist for the last 13 years. She has worked with children of all ages and their families for the past 27 years. Beth’s unique background--combining family therapy, child development, and education- provides a strong foundation for meeting individual, child, and family needs and fostering long-term happiness and success. In general, the families she works with are dealing with issues of infant, child, and adolescent development. Families may be facing such challenges as children’s behavior issues, depression, anxiety, school-related concerns, and life transitions.
