I passed the LCSW the first time using only TDC materials. I felt prepared and confident during the Standard Written. The exam questions were exactly what I expected after completing the study program. I went through the Standard Written study materials twice.
The Clinical Vignette I only went through once because of the blackout period and my desire to finish before the test changed. I did not feel as confident when I sat down and started reading the questions as the prior exam. It was very helpful to remember the advice offered stating that most people do not feel like they are passing. The test taking strategies helped me to focus and push through. I answered and then flagged the ones I was unsure of and only went back to those questions. The answers I changed were the ones where I had the “aha” moment.
I cannot thank TDC enough for helping me pass these tests and will recommend to friends!
