I am completely thrilled about this program! The strategies I learned were priceless in that exam room. At points when I felt tired I could hear Amanda, and I just reminded myself to trust the strategies...and I passed on the first try!!
I am thrilled to share that I took my MFT SWE this morning (7/30/14) for the first time, and I passed! I am confident that TDC helped me to have a clearer understanding of the material, and from a much more "real" perspective. Although I did not find out about TDC until months into my study process, I am SO glad I did...and so thankful I took advantage of the entire study system. I couldn't be more excited or appreciative!
While I wouldn't say I found the SWE to be easy, I felt 100% confident throughout the test because of this program. Thank you for preparing me so well. Onto the CVE!
The concepts presented by TDC, along with their conceptualization for framing the Clinical Vignettes was invaluable in discerning what the questions were asking, as well as eliminating wrong answers. Memorization at this stage of licensure was clearly not necessary, as evidenced by the test itself. Instead, TDC's material gives the test taker a firm handle on what the BBS is looking for as far as demonstrating that you are a competent and ethical therapist.
TDC is concise and to the point. It does not overwhelm with superfluous details which really helps decrease anxiety during the entire process. I used only TDC material for both exams and passed on the first try each time. Thank you TDC, your program made this experience manageable and attainable.
I passed April 4, 2014. Thank you Amanda for your wonderful study program. I feel that your course is designed to help us pass without overwhelming us. You have designed a well-thought out program that is well structured and organized, while keeping in mind the big picture and not letting us get lost in the details. This is a grueling test! It's not so much the knowledge that is difficult, it's sitting and concentrating for those 4 wretched hours.
Thanks for a great program! I'm grateful that I came across your program before I purchased one of the other major players. I had the opportunity to look at some of the materials from other courses and have to say that it was mind numbing in its complexity.

I can't say enough positive things about this study system. I used the frames, the grid,and remembered to "trust my x's", and it all paid off! I have been telling all of my MFTi friends to look nowhere else...thank you so much Amanda and crew!

The test was hard but strategies taught were so helpful during the exam, especially the frames, and looking for the X's. Couldn't have done it without your help!!
